Kristy Singleton (Certified Personal Trainer - NESTA)
Being active has always been a part of Kristy's life. As a teenager, she played basketball, rugby, was on the track and field team and the cross country running team.
Kristy has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a degree in Developmental Disabilities from the University of Ottawa. For the past fifteen years, she worked in a group home and was also responsible for administrative work in an office environment.
A busy mother of two active children, Kristy came to be part of the 180° team first as an Adventure Boot Camper herself. Between juggling children and work, joining boot camp was the perfect solution for Kristy to take time for herself and stay active and fit. Shortly after signing up for boot camp, Kristy was diagnosed with cancer. It became even more important for her to focus on her health and Adventure Boot Camp helped her do just that. In fact, Kristy loved boot camp so much that it prompted to her become a Personal Fitness trainer and she has been teaching classes ever since!
Today, Kristy is healthy, energetic, and living life to the fullest. She is an avid runner and has now run two half marathons.
